Fujitsu teddybear robot

Guess Fujitsu doesn’t only make desirable netbooks, they have also rolled out a prototype teddybear robot that aims to comfort the elderly while keeping kids happy by reading facial expressions on your little ones as well as their actions, and responding accordingly. Guess pulling the tail of the teddybear robot won’t result in him biting you unlike Lassie, eh? A camera is located in the bear’s nose, where it will go about detecting human faces and actions while responding with over 300 actions, including giggling and laughing to waving its paws and taking a nap. Heck, to make it more ‘human’, it even snores! Who would have thought that humans would turn to robots for comfort in the future?
