Skype Offers Free Wi-Fi To Stranded Tourists

Nobody likes to be stuck abroad due to the recent flight delays, but Skype seems to be doing what is can to help ease the situation. The VoIP company has announced that the normal charges for Skype Access have been lifted, allowing travelers to access the web in cafes, hotels and the many international airports for free. The free access deal will be up till 2359 GMT on Friday 23rd April, as that’s when flights are expected to return as normal. You’ll just need to get in touch with a participating hotspot, have a Wi-Fi capable device, as well as the latest version of Skype, and you’re good to go.
