Apple Registers The iTunes Live Trademark

With Apple’s acquisition and the closing down of Lala, an online music service, many folks were speculating that Apple was planning to launch a streaming version of iTunes that could offer concerts and other content online in real time. While there hasn’t been any official hint of such a move yet, the registration of the iTunes Live trademark by Apple does seem to provide some hints that the fruity company is moving in that direction. The trademark falls under two categories, including“online retail store services in the field of entertainment featuring prerecorded musical, audio and audiovisual content” and “entertainment services, namely, arranging and conducting of concerts and live musical performances”. So what do you think? Will we see an iTunes Live service sometime in the near future?
