Kindle 2.5 Firmware Previewed With Screenshots

We recently brought your attention to the upcoming Kindle 2.5 firmware update that will bring social network integration to Amazon’s Kindle, and now it seems that the folks over at Ars Technica have managed to get hold of the firmware before it’s officially released, and they’ve been kind enough to upload pictures of it in action. As we previously mentioned, the most notable features of the upcoming firmware would be the new “Collections” feature that allows you to sort your books into groups and the ability to share a passage from a book with your Twitter and Facebook friends. The downside of the Facebook and Twitter integration is that it only allows you to share the content in a form of a link instead of the actual quote, but it’s still better than nothing, right?
