RIP Ivy Bean, world's oldest Twitter user

Ivy Bean is going to go down as a legend where Twitter users are concerned – after all, this is no ordinary lass and certainly won’t come across as an avid Twitterer. She has just passed away at a ripe old age of 104 years, amassing nearly 57,000 Twitter followers worldwide as they follow her daily routine which ranges from eating the traditional English meal of fish & chips, while pottering around her garden during her spare time. She manages to convey warmth and friendliness in nearly every message, and will also correspond regularly with her followers. Bad days don’t get this centurion down easily, and this world record holder could probably be the oldest Facebook user as well since she joined the social networking site back when she was 102 years young. She moved on to Twitter simply because she maxed out her friend limit on Facebook, with 25,000 pending friend requests waiting. Bean leaves behind five great-grandchildren as well as a reminder to us all that one is never too old to start something. RIP, Ivy Bean.
