You probably have already heard of the RedEye mini from ThinkFlood, which can be hooked up to the 3.5mm headphone jack on Apple’s iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, and control any home theater device that uses IR remotes via the included app. The app supports custom layouts, and its controls will also support multi-touch and the accelerometer. If you’ve been thinking about this for some time, you’ll be happy to hear that ThinkFlood has begun to ship the device, and you’ll be able to pick it up for $49. Hopefully you won’t lose the RedEye mini like how most folks lose the remote control into the couch.
