External eSATA Port on an Apple iMac

So, does your 27” Apple iMac come with an external eSATA port? Before you drop everything and start to look for it, let’s save you the time and trouble of doing so by letting you know that there aren’t any. OWC has a solution by boring a new hole at the bottom of your 27″ iMac so that an eSATA port can be included, allowing you to hook up an external hard drive in the process. All you need to do is send your iMac to Other World Computing (OWC) and they’ll get their hands dirty on your behalf for $169.
