GPS Glasses Tell You If You're Headed In The Right Direction

GPS devices are extremely useful things, but having to always keep an eye on the display in order to tell if you’re going in the correct direction might be a tad troublesome. Now the folks over in Japan have come up with a prototype device, dubbed the Wearable Personal Navigation System, which is a GPS-toting pair of glasses that sports integrated LEDs on the frame, and a magnetic direction sensor, detecting the orientation of the user’s head. With that in place, when the user looks in a certain direction, the LEDs will change color in order to notify the user whether that’s the direction you need to head to. Pretty nifty idea, and you can check out a video of this device in action after the jump.
