Rumor is going around that Sprint will be releasing the Android-powered Samsung Epic 4G on August 11th at Sprint stores, which is slightly earlier than expected. According to the leak, stores will be opening earlier, at 8AM, in order to accomodate the expected higher demand for the device. In case you aren’t familiar with it, the Epic 4G sports many similar features to Samsung’s Galaxy S, such as a 5-megapixel camera, Super AMOLED display, 1GHz processor, but offers some other juicy features such as a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and WiMAX network support. Pricing wasn’t mentioned, but speculation is that it’ll be priced around $200 for a two-year contract.
