Virtual Boy fans rejoice with FlashBoy Plus

All five Virtual Boy fans of you out there, it is time to pop the champagne – after all, Richard Hutchinson came up with an update to his first Virtual Boy dev kit known as FlashBoy Plus. This will be the second generation of the emulator, boasting an internal save battery – goes to show just how much of a niche following the Virtual Boy has even until today despite its short-lived moments as a games console. FlashBoy Plus will feature all the games that ever made an appearance on the Virtual Boy platform (which isn’t many, so be forewarned), inclusive of those from Japan. This is a PC only emulator, and we are stoked it comes in red box prints that remain faithful to the original Nintendo handheld. You can pick up the FlashBoy Plus at Planet Virtual Boy for €90 – any takers?
