Yaskawa-kun Robot Sells Ice Cream In Japan

The folks over in Japan seem to have some obsession over robots, and next up in robot news is Yaskawa-kun, which has just taken up a job dishing out ice cream at Tokyo Summerland, a big theme park, where it will be replacing the human workers until August 22nd. Its job is pretty simple, as users will be able to use the touchscreen to select whatever size, flavor etc ice cream they want, pay, and watch Yaskawa-kun prepare the ice cream and pass it over the counter. You can check out a video of Yaskawa-kun in action after the jump.
