Panasonic has announced its Let’s Note J9 compact laptop that will be available for purchase online in Japan. This 10.1-inch notebook might seem like a netbook to you but it’s powered by a Core i3 or i5 processor, meaning that it’ll be able to easily trump an Atom-powered netbook. Pricing wasn’t mentioned just yet, but we do know that it’ll be shipping in Japan on October 15th and will include specifications such as:
- 10.1-inch 1366 x 768 pixel display
- Core i3-370M or i5-460M processor
- 2GB of RAM
- Wi-Fi b/g/n
- WiMAX
- Windows 7 Home Premium
- 160GB hard drive or 128GB SSD
- Gigabit Ethernet
- Intel HD integrated graphics
- SD/SDHC/SDXC card reader
- Up to 12-hours battery life
