While the iPhone 4’s glass casing (front and back) is touted as being scratch resistant, there have been enough reports of the glass cracking to see iPhone 4 owners worry about the durability of the device. With that in mind, an accessory maker has come up with a beveled metal back cover instead, one that is cheap enough at $13 and is easy to install, though it takes a little bit of unscrewing. It seems like a cheap solution to avoid a costly accident while still maintaining the good looks of your iPhone 4. That being said, we still wouldn’t recommend you throw your iPhone around the streets.
