We’ve been hearing quite a few rumors about the upcoming MacBook Air, and now additional details have surfaced. According to reports, there will be a new 13.3-inch MacBook Air, and an 11.6-inch “netbook” version. The 13.3-inch model will be thinner and lighter than the current model, not to mention offer a bigger battery and more ports. Users who have apparently tried it claim that it’s much faster than its predecessor, and it boots incredibly fast. Other rumored specifications include a second USB port, an SD card reader, a Mini DisplayPort, and a 1440 x 900 pixel display for the 13-inch model. It’s also been mentioned that the battery life will be bumped to 8-10 hours, instead of the original 5-hours. In terms of physical design, it’s slightly more angular, similar to the iPhone 4. We’ve only got a few more days to Apple’s event, and we’ll keep you updated with all the last minute leaks.
