FCC checks out Canon DV840210 wireless mic system

Most camcorders have one major weakness – that is being unable to capture quality audio to go along with the video. Well, perhaps it is time you call upon some bit of wireless goodness – we’re talking about the Canon DV840210 wireless mic system that has just jumped through the hoops at the FCC, where this clip-on mic will do its job by delivering audio to your video camera via Bluetooth, allowing you to record audio sans large boom mics or a bunch of tangled wires. In the FCC test reports, it was pointed out that the DV840210 played nice with Canon’s VIXIA HF-S21 video camera, which means the consumer market will most probably be the target audience. There is no idea on pricing or availability just yet, so stay tuned!
