We knew that Polaroid would be making a comeback of sorts, but who knew that an iOS app would arrive before an actual camera? Polaroid has teamed up with Lol Software to release the official Polaroid app for the iPhone and iPod touch, offering users the choice of 30 different official filters and colored borders to create the iconic Polaroid effect. Users are also given the option to upload pictures directly to Facebook. The app supports iOS 4.2, its wireless AirPrint capability and also allows full resolution images to be stored in the photo library or shared by email. The app is already available on the iTunes App Store for $2.50.
