Skype For Android Updated To Support Galaxy S And SD Card Installs

Getting Skype installed on your Android-powered device might not be as simple as getting it installed on the iPhone, due to device support. The good news is that Galaxy S phones that are running Android 2.2 Froyo will now be able to install the popular VoIP app, thanks to an update to the application by Skype. Other benefits of the new version include the ability of the app to be saved on any Android 2.2 device’s SD memory card, helping you save on the internal storage space. The updated Skype app is already available for download and if you don’t already have it on your Galaxy S, now would be a good time to give it a try.
