Virtual Keyboard Discovered In webOS 2.0

We previously noticed that there were references to a virtual keyboard in webOS 2.0 and now that the operating system is available (on the Pre 2), some folks out there have taken the time to tinker and confirmed the existence of a virtual keyboard. All they had to do was modify some config files and enable it in the operating system. After that is done, restart the device and hit Opt+Sym+K or do a slow half-swipe upwards in order to bring up the virtual keyboard. The virtual keyboard obviously isn’t finished as it’s still buggy and crashes, not to mention that it’s understandably quite cramped on the Pre 2’s display. Regardless of its current state, at least we know that the virtual keyboard is there and hopefully it means we’re well on the way to seeing more webOS-powered devices.
