Folks in South Korea who are feeling flush even in these tough times might want to consider picking up the Pantech Sky DuPont IM-U510LE via SK Telecom, where this full candybar handset will boast golden accents for that added touch of class, although some people might mistake this for some sort of lighter at first glance. It will come with a full 3" touchscreen display at 240 x 400 resolution, GPS navigation support, DMB TV, a built-in music player, email and a microSD memory card slot. The Pantech Dupont can also open up just like a DuPont lighter to reveal a 3-megapixel camera, and the entire thing will cost you around $830 - which is more or less the most expensive phone from Pantech to date.

The Elekit EK amplifier is definitely love at first sight - this vacuum tube hybrid stereo amplifier designed by Koichi Futatsumata will be made available from high-end audio electronics company Elekit. It comes in a sleek steel casing, hidden circuitry and mechanical parts, where all forms of user interaction are accomplished using just a couple of aluminium dials, which is a summary of how minimalist and clean the design is. You will also find that the Elekit EK amplifier is no slouch when it comes to performance, offering output power of 10 + 10 Watts, a sensitivity rating of 560mV (RCA jacks), 180mV and 5Hz - 50kHz frequency response band.

Alexander Amosu is back in his element, where his latest creation is a BlackBerry that will be the most expensive diamond encrusted version of the device in the world, crafted in solid 18 carat yellow gold and encrusted with 4,459 (count them!) brilliant cut diamonds for a total of 28.43 carats. With such opulence, you can expect the five-star treatment to continue, where this handset can be personalized with your name or company logo while featuring a 24-hour global concierge service (hello, Vertu? Your space is being invaded here). There will only be three of these diamond-encrusted BlackBerrys in the world, where one of them will retail for a whopping $200,366.

Boy, is this the dream car for those who want something outrageous when it comes to entertaining friends and family on wheels. You won't need to do up a caravan, as the 2010 Brabus Mercedes-Benz Viano Lounge ought to be more than enough to ferry you and your mates around with its 426hp 6.1L V8 engine. Apart from that, it will also boast a 32" LCD TV, a couple of Sony VAIO notebooks to keep abreast with the latest Facebook updates, a PlayStation 3 to keep you occupied during those long road trips, a Nespresso machine that makes your favorite cup of joe to perfection as well as a Vertu Constellation phone. As for the sound system, you can be assured of the best since it will be presented in Dolby Surround Sound alongside a custom-designed sound system. No idea on pricing, but uber expensive ought to be what you're looking at.

Vertu has expanded its Constellation stable with yet another model, the Ayxta. This will be the first flip handset from the luxurious manufacturer, where the Ayxta has been targeted "at discerning global citizens who are searching for a high quality product to assist in maintaining their standard of living wherever they may be throughout the world". It will add a touch of class to your life thanks to Vertu's Concierge service, where a single button press will lead you straight to a customer service agent who is able to help you with just about any questions you have (handy if you're a participant on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?"), or have an errand to run. Apart from that, the Ayxta will also boast Vertu Select, an online service exclusive to this handset that provides you with the location of the latest hip bars in your area. Other features include a microSD memory card slot, up to 2,000 contacts, up to 1,500 calendar notes and up to 1,000 messages, as well as 3G connectivity and a 3-megapixel camera with integrated twin LED flash. Expect to fork out anywhere from 4,900 to 6,500 Euros for this puppy.

Guess the Vertu Constellation F has leaked out onto the Internet, coming in a customary blur shot that makes it hard for ordinary folks to discern the design up close and personal. It does look to come in a clamshell form factor and will be the first Vertu handset to feature GPS navigation, although we don't know how much it will cost or when will it roll out. Definitely the former will be too expensive for ordinary Joes to bring home, as it is made out of stainless steel and feature 8GB internal memory and a 2.4" LCD display at 320 x 480 resolution with a whole lot of bling accompanying it.

Want to be the envy of your family and friends with a bling handset from Pantech Korea? The IM-U510LE ought to fit the bill, featuring 18k gold decoration alongside a design that closely resembles that of a Dupont lighter. Apart from the cool looking luxurious exterior, we have absolutely no idea on what the interior holds, but one ought to be able to expect the usual trappings of an expensive handset including a digital camera of high megapixel count, 3G connectivity, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support as well as a decent amount of memory within.

You would definitely find the Obscura CueLight pool table something worth desiring after if you happen to be flush with cash and are thinking of sprucing up your living room with something your mates don't have. This pool table will rely on sensors and motion detectors that will come with an overhead projector that creates images. Balls will reveal an image hidden underneath, where the system can also be configured to trail flames behind the balls, while those who prefer something more soothing can choose to project a pool of water on the table instead, complete with ripples and all. The whole system will cost a whopping $80,000 though - without the pool table, of course, where the latter is going for an even more expensive $125,000.

Skullcandy has often merged fashion and technology, and their latest SKDY 0.25" Adapter Necklace certainly rolls back the years, turning parts of old 0.25" stereo headphones into a fashionable necklace. Too bad this is but a fashion accessory and nothing else - you won't hear anything coming out from your necklace even when it is plugged into a compatible device of your choice. Would you fork out $9.95 for this?

Blu-ray player players are still a long way off when it comes to matching the prices of DVD players, but we can't really blame the manufacturers since the Blu-ray players themselves aren't exactly flying off the shelves. One of the main reasons could still be the relatively prohibitive cost, but hear how much the Goldmund Eidos Reference Blu-ray player will set you back and chances are you'll stick to downloading your movies off a broadband connection. The Goldmund Eidos Reference Blu-ray player is going for a whopping $135,000, where it comes covered with 66 pounds of brass, aluminum and various electronics. As with anything outrageously expensive, this model is handmade in Geneva, and comes suspended on 4 spring-loaded legs. There is also the small issue of only 50 of these circulating around the earth.

The Golden Buddha cellphone supposedly comes with genuine jade, pearl powder lacquer and a 24k gold plated finish - sounds pretty expensive despite its vendor, Chinavasion not really offering anything on the high end scale to date. This is described as "the single best phone for the successful businesswoman that wants to announce her elite status to the world." I don't know about you, but there are numerous methods for one to announce her elite status to the world, and some of them do include bling phones from Vertu that'll outclass this handset any day. Apparently, this handset is meant to help you whenever you're filled to the brim with stress (being an elite and all), taking refuge in its Virtual Prayer Hall to help you send some quick SOS prayers to the Supreme Buddha. We would think a lady of such stature might probably settle for a relaxing spa session followed by retail therapy afterwards to get away from the stress...

Just in case you're wondering how expensive CD players can get, check out the $3,200 Impression II from Grant Fidelity. This one was specially developed for serious audiophiles (you can tell by the price tag, can't you?), the Impression II will feature electronics that were carefully placed in the four corners of the player. The reason behind this placement is to prevent them from interfering with the CD player, which incidentally rests on an isolated aluminum chassis that is located right smack in the middle. Other features to justify its astronomical price tag would be 3 optional frequencies including 44.1 kHz/16bit, 96 kHz/24bit and 192 kHz/24bit. You know what they say, a fool and his money are soon parted...

You know something's wrong with the world when notebooks are treated like clothes, with the Hi-Grade Notino W5900 range being described as comprising of "customised laptops to complete this season's looks. Found the dress, found the shoes and the accessories to match, why not complete the look with a stylish laptop?". Why, indeed. Still, if you think that your notebook should match whatever you wear to the office, this is the range for you as it comes with a plethora of designs to choose from including graffiti, a pink leopard print or the "shopping" design. Prices start from £394.50 upwards, where they'll all come with Windows Vista Home Premium pre-installed. Guess at that price you can't really expect too much in terms of specifications, eh?

Vodafone has unveiled their 533 Catwalk Collection that will target the fashion conscious, where this unit will come in three variants - the Vodafone 533 Catwalk Red, Vodafone 533 Catwalk Lady (designed by Berlin-based artist Tomek Sadurski) and Vodafone 533 Catwalk Crystal. All three will boast similar specifications including a 176 x 220 resolution display, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, an integrated FM radio, Vodafone Mail support, a 1.3-megapixel camera and tri-band GSM/EGE connectivity (900/1800/1900 MHz). Of course, the Vodafone 533 Crystal seems to stand out from the rest since it has been crystallized with 126 precision-cut crystals that hail from Austria to give it that added bling look.
