News: Hyper-resistant metal could revolutionize gizmos
Popular Science has an article about the "Rubber Metal", a successful application of the Nanotechnology. The material is assembled molecule by molecule in a process that actually takes 3 days. This metal can survive material abuses that ranges from fire to intense streching, and would, in the end, allow gizmos built with it to last longer and survive deadly drops, for example. Tell that to my last PDA!
