News: Casio QV-R61

Casio has just announced it's new mainstream Camera. The QV-R61 is a 6 Megapixels camera equipped with a 3x Optical zoom. The LCD display is 2.0" big. The gizmo is using the EXILIM engine that's already in their now famous EXILIM series. One interresting claim is that it can take 280 photos at full resolution. I actually own an EXILIM EXZ3, and in a recent trip, I shot about 200 photos at full resolution (3.3 Megapixels). The battery ended up at 30%, so I would believe their claim. Talking about the battery, this device can use AA or proprietary batteries which, for me, is a plus. It is compact with dimensions of 88.3(W) x 60.4(H) x 33.4(D) mm
