Drugs delivered by tiny Robots in the blood

Chinese scientists have unveiled a tiny robot that swims in your blood... to deliver blood or to help fight vascular diseases. The 3mm long machine is propelled by fins controlled by a magnetic field. The fins are made of an alloy that contracts when submitted to the field. The control mechanism is still very basic at the moment. The next step is to build a more controllable robot that would be only 1/3 of the size, or 1mm. The long dream (of some, at least ;) ) of having nano-machines repairing our bodies 24/7 is one step closer. [Seen on "near near future"]
