The design of the Landis & Gyr VSV-18A Video Player is not very sexy. However, the gizmo still has some interesting technical aspects.
The 2" LCD has a nice 558x234 resolution, that's enough to have crisp videos. The storage capacity varies from 20GB to 40GB. It connects to the PC using USB 2.0.
Finally, it can be used as an (almost?) universal Flash Memory reader: it accepts CompactFlash I/II, SmartMedia, SecureDigital, MemoryStick (MS), MS Pro, MS Duo, MultiMediaCard and MiniDisc cards (phew).
