A software download page for the Treo 650 has been spotted on PalmOne’s website. Apparently, someone simply replaced the “600″ in the dynamic site address by “650″ and it worked!

The page is normally not accessible from the website.
That’s not all, there is a rumor saying that the Bluetooth functionality for the Sprint Treo 650 version is crippled. More in the Full Post…
According to the rumor, Sprint would not allow Treo 650 users to use their Treo 650 phone as a wireless GRPS modem for their laptops. The reason would be that Sprint does not want people to use its 80Kbps CDMA connection (vs 40Kbps for GSM Treo 6×0) to connect all the time with their laptop, using a lot of bandwidth. However, it’s possible to connect using a USB cable… although it’s not as convenient as a wireless Bluetooth connection.
At the moment, there is no confirmation or denial from Sprint.
