Hey, this gizmo is really cool! The Sharp Zaurus SL-C3000 PDA runs on Linux. While Palm is releasing its Tungsten T5 with a 160MB flash drive, the Zaurus SL-C3000 has a 4GB of storage capacity (Hard Drive). That is not all, the 3.7″ LCD has a resolution of 640×480 (VGA)!
Associate this fantastic screen with a QWERTY keyboard and you have a cool web browsing capable handheld (you can add Wi-fi, using the Compact Flash slot).

(Specs in the Full Post)
- Intel PX270 @ 416MHz
- 4GB HDD
- SDRAM64MB
- SD/CF
- VGA 3.7″
- USB
- Autonomy 7h
- 298g
- 124x87x25mm
By the way, the Zaurus SL-C3000 is also “USB mass storage compliant”. It means that if you hook it up to a PC, the 4GB hard drive is going to show up as a Disk in windows explorer. Cool.
