SimpleTech announces the SimpleShare Network Attached StorageSimpleTech has announced its SimpleShare Network Attached Storage (NAS).

It’s basically a Network Hard Drive that lets you share files on your local network. It was not clear if it also had some kind of web interface, as competing product sometimes do.

The idea is very cool and is gaining some momentum, but at a price varying from $399 to $499, I could see how one could build a full Shuttle PC.

It just does not make economical sense to buy a NAS at this price.
