Environment-friendly DVD discs made with cornJVC (Japan) has developed a method to manufacture Blu-Ray discs using corn. This would replace the plastic currently used to build DVD discs.

Obviously, the use of corn would make the disc environment-friendly. Warning: although it’s made of corn, you can not eat them. Who’s going to make cookie-based discs?
