Flybar 1200 is a monster pogo stick!

Christian Harris writes: “The company that brought us the original pogo stick in 1918, SBI Enterprises, has now brought the Flybar 1200 ($300) to market. In doing so, it has scrapped the steel coil spring in favor of 12 huge rubber bands, or ‘thrusters’.

The crazy thing is that each thruster can store 100-pounds of energy when stretched by 300 per cent – creating a trampoline-like power system that can send an adult pogoist more than five feet high (the record so far is nearly eight feet).”
