GE´s GlamCam wins TECHGIRL AWARD

The GlamCam looks like a flip-phone, but it’s a multicam (digicam+webcam) that flips open to reveal a mirror on one side. It has a LCD screen to view the photos that have been taken.

The award was given based on the “ease-of-use and the product’s lifestyle benefits to female consumers”.

I like the design, but it seems that the jury thinks that female users are a bunch of narcissist/digitally impaired bimbos. I’m sure that there’s better technology for women out there…
