Skull.B is the latest variant of the virus. Unlike its predecessor Skull.A, the targeted cell phone does not display any pop-up message during the installation of the malicious file. Skull.B is capable of disabling functions such as SMS, MMS, Web Browsing and built-in camera. The new virus uses “Cabir”, a worm that will use Bluetooth to copy itself wirelessly onto other devices. |
