SONY DCR-PC55E MiniDV Camcorder

Ok, I’ve said many times that Mini-DV should be dead and replaced with 4GB micro drives, but I have to admit that the Sony DCR-PC55E is a really cool looking mini-DV camcorder.

It’s amazing that Sony has been able to reduce the mechanical parts to the point where the camera is barely larger than the tapes it records on. That’s not all, the DCR-PC55E also has a beautiful 3″ LCD screen. It will makes a big difference, believe me.

Mr Sony… Could you make the same device, smaller, with a 4GB micro drive?
