TEAC Launches External Hard Drives

TEAC is going to release a new Series of external hard drives during the Consumer Electronic Show (CES – Jan 6-9th, Las Vegas).

“TEAC’s 3.5″ External Hard Disk Drives are available in USB 2.0 and USB 2.0 / Firewire (Combo). They are available in 40GB, 80GB, 120GB, 160GB, 200GB and 250GB capacities. TEAC’s 2.5″ Slim Portable Hard Disk Drives are available in USB 2.0. They are available in 40GB, 60GB and 80GB capacities.” (press release)

The disk is contained into an aluminum case. Besides beings sleek looking, aluminum is an excellent material for cooling the drive.
