SED has many benefits from the traditional Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) displays. The contrast is better and the reaction time is excellent. Additionally, SED also has advantages of LCD/Plasma technology: the image is sharp and the form factor is very flat. Even the power consumption is very good (low). These TV will be available in Japan in H2 2005. Earlier this week, Sony was rumored to exit from the Plasma market. Sony denied the rumor. |
