Home > General > Google hires lead Firefox programmer, plans for a web browser?

Google has hired Ben Goodger, the former lead programmer of Firefox, the new hot web browser.

Ben will continue to work on Firefox at Google. This makes people think that Google is up to something in the web browsing area. Another hint that reinforces this rumor is that Google registered the gbrowser.com domain name.

It’s one more thing that is going to put Google on a collision course with Microsoft. Recently, Google has been pretty close with the Mozilla foundation.
