Guardian Angel bags

Developed to fight crime in Rotterdam, the guardian angels bags come with outlines of a gun, a knife or a crucifix. The bags were designed to “protect” old women from potential robbers.

I assume that the crucifix version was done to scare-off vampires…

I’m really not convinced of the usefulness of this “gadget”, in an urban environment a knife visibly displayed in a bag will not scare off a serious attacker, while a gun in bag is probably the best way to get shot at first. Of course, I strongly recommend not using these bags in airports.
