Samsung believe that they can mass-produce it, using their current production lines, dedicated to LCD. The OLED display is said to have 6.22 Million pixels. This would mean that it goes well beyond the 1920×1080 HDTV format or even beyond the 2560×1600 resolution of Apple’s 30″ Cinema Display. While this might be the biggest OLED display to be mass-produced, EPSON showed a 40″ OLED screen back in October. |
