Sharp puts the world´s brightest screens in their new laptops

Sharp is going to use its latest LCD technology for its new line of portable computers. At the end of the month, the PC-XG70H and PC-XG50H laptops will go on sale in Japan (Jan 22nd).

The screen brightness of 630 candela per square meter is above any other laptop, and can only be (remotely) compared only to TVs produced by… Sharp. The 1024×768 resolution is not outside of the ordinary. I think that this is a bit low, even for a 12″ monitor.
