Google is beta-testing their mapping software: Google Map. I tried it and it looks really cool.

The vector graphics are regenerated each time you zoom in. It is possible to click and drag the map rather than stepping by large chunks.

Overall, the esthetics and readability are much better than Yahoo maps (MapQuest). It’s also possible to find local businesses. When the user clicks on a business link, the map will smoothly scroll to the new location.
