If you own a Media Center PC, you should take a look at Microsoft’s MSN Remote Record Service.
You will need to install MSN Remote Record on your Media Center PC and you will need to have a (free) Microsoft passport to log-in.
It is *very* practical to program recording while being away from the computer, plus it’s free.
