Siemens has a pair on interesting phones here:
The M75 on the left is a rugged phone that can resist “splash water, shock and dust”. Its second characteristic is that the design is pretty ugly… Add a canon on it and there you go, you have an USSR battle tank…
On the right, we have the Gigaset S35 Wifi phone. It allows one to place calls from a hotspot… how does it work if the network is WEP-protected? Also, it’s quite bulky, but hey I like the idea of having a Wifi phone. For $250 or more, there’s also the Zytel Prestige VOIP Wifi phone.
