Skype has official versions for Mac OS X and Linux now. I’m using the windows version and was happy ever since I started. Skype is an internet telephony program that lets you call other Skype users for free. If you want to call a landline phone, you can buy relatively cheap minutes. The great thing is that I did not have to configure anything or open any ports. It’s much better than any other Voice Over IP program (VOIP). Try it! (Skype website)
