Samsung SCH-V740 Confirmed by TelecomsKorea

There have been rumors that Samsung is making a  Motorola RAZR  look-alike cell phone.  The rumors were confirmed last week when an official of Samsung stated that they have been making 8mm slim phones for quite some time, and that a new slim phone will come out soon.   The new slim cell will have the model name  SCH-v740 and will be styled much like the Motorola RAZR.  The Samsung  SCH-v740 might not look like the rumored pictures floating around but the features will be basically the same.  There are more pictures (below) that will help you decide if it is a remake or not.  

You can tell by the photos that the features are very similar.  The top fronts are both decorated with a camera and accented with a small display screen. 

From the side view you can see that the construction of the phones are very different.  The placement of the side buttons are in different locations and will most likely do several different actions.  The joint that allows the phone to open and close are similar to each of the manufacturer’s styles. Both phones are very much alike but the popularity and the functionality will both be determined by the manufacturer. (photos from Slashphone)
