Japanese company Rockridge Sound will soon release the VRX-02, a video recorder that creates MPEG-4 files onto flash cards. Supported formats are: SD, miniSD, Memory Sticks (MS), MS Duo and MS Pro Duo.
Before you get too excited, this device records at low resolution only (320×240/30fps) and there’s probably no recording programming function. It records files that are compatible with the Sony PSP (and the Nintendo DS), but unfortunately not in the native PSP resolution.
“Three recording modes are available: Super Fine (320 x 240 dot, 30fps), Fine (320 x 240 dot, 15 fps), and Normal (176 x 144 dot, 15 fps). The external dimensions are 210 x 145 x 35mm (W x D x H).” (techjapan) |
