Epson has announced the development of a flexible display: The image shown is a 2 inches, 320×240 (QVGA) resolution display. This resolution is fairly good, but not unusual. In Asia, lots of cellphones have a similar resolution on 2.2″ displays.
However, Epson’s new display is flexible, thanks to the use of plastic instead of glass in the display. This is quite an achievement that will lead to thinner, lighter, flexible and possible less fragile screens.
