Sony has released an LCD video projector that’s only 52mm thin! It has a very decent luminosity of 2000 Lumens and a resolution of 1024×768 pixels (XGA).
XGA used to be a good resolution, but I would recommend getting something that does 1280×720 (or beyond) if possible, because that’s the 720p HDTV resolution. It’s not like HD movies are here already but I know how you love to feel like your new toys is future-proof (how foolish).
With a weight of 1.9kg, it’s lighter than most laptops.
