The latest iTunes phone from Motorola is the E790, which shares the Motorola E398 similarities in design. It comes pre-installed with iTunes Mobile software and a 128MB Transflash card. Assuming it is based on the same hardware platform as the E398 and C698p, we can safely guess that the E790 is a tri-band GSM phone and will sport Bluetooth capability, 176 x 220 pixel display, VGA resolution camera, email client, web browser, Java support, and stereo speakers.
Unfortunately for users, a phone with musical potential should come in a 3G flavour, as data downloads through GSM networks are nothing short of torture. An iPod that can make calls? Pretty viable idea, but it will need a few more iterations before coming out with a perfect model that would satiate even the most demanding phone/MP3 player connoisseur.
