Oakley’s new version of its MP3 sunglasses line is christened Thump, and as of today everything else is still under wraps except for the following. Obviously you will have to pay a premium when you purchase an Oakley, what more a pair of sunglasses that provides you with aural entertainment? The Thump 2.0 will be styled after the Oakley GASCAN sunglasses (photo), and its targeted market are youth with money to blow. Its intricate architecture includes a new speaker boom assembly capable of accommodating virtually all ear/cranial geometries – in layman’s terms that means maximizing the range of fit. We predict that the Oakley Thump 2.0 will offer more memory options and is most likely to be released in the fourth quarter of this year.
Publisher’s note: I don’t like the design of this version 2.0, sorry Oakley.
