The official name of the HTC Universal (reviewed here) has been unveiled, and shall be known as the IMate JASJAR from now one. It runs on the Windows Mobile 5.0 Edition OS, and is another convergence device that gives users the option for checking mail, Internet browsing, and networking. It is a tri-band GSM/GPRS capable phone worldwide, connectivity is provided by Bluetooth and WiFi . The swivel keyboard is folded out when in use unless you want to use the touchscreen. The 1.3 mega-pixel camera takes decent video clips and stills. You can pre-order it here or get the Orange version if you’re in Europe.
