Xbox 360 official price set at $299.99 and $399

Microsoft is finally announcing the price of the Xbox 360. The basic pack (without hard drive) will cost $299 while the fancier version will cost $399. The more expensive “Premium edition” version will have a slightly different look (metallic details on the console).

Microsoft points out that although it costs $100 more, the cumulated value of all the additional accessories is worth $200.
