3D TV in action

German company Grundig is attempting to bring three-dimensional television viewing without any special, custom made glasses into homes worldwide by the end of 2006. The recent IFA expo saw Grundig set up a couple of 3D TVs, but picture quality is not up to par with what we see on the flat screen today. The first people to knock on Grundig’s door would be high-flying Hollywood execs, as they are always on the lookout for the next big thing that will snag the consumers’ dollars, but doesn’t 3D TV does make some nauseous after a short while? (Publisher: I confirm: this kind of stuff makes me sick, mainly because of the poor resolution. Try it for yourself if you have the opportunity)
